Xanthis (Ξανθίδος) was one of the fifty daughters of Thespius, King of Thespiae, Boeotia. She was one of forty-nine daughters who by impersonating her older sister Prokris during one of the fifty nights Herakles was in Thespia was able to have sex with Herakles (believing Xanthis was Prokris) and consequently get pregnant by him (as King Thespius had hoped). Xanthis would bare Herakles a son Homolippus.
