Almo was in ancient Roman region the eponymous god of the small river Almo in the vicinity of Rome. Like Tiberinus and others, he was prayed to by the augurs of Rome. In the water of Almo the aniconic stone embodying the mother of the gods, Kybele, used to be washed. He had a naiad daughter named Larunda.

Almo (In The Aeneid) and Lara share a similar fate. They’re both aimed at the throat by their enemies, Almo choking on his blood while Lara completely loses her voice. Which many consider foreshadowing for these two.
Almo as an anagram mean “malo” (bad) in Spanish.
His River is by far more popular than himself.
